Sun Peak Metals Reports Promising Initial Results from Al Miyah Project in Saudi Arabia

Sun Peak Metals Corp. has announced encouraging initial results from a surface sampling program at its fully owned Al Miyah project, covering 234 km² in Saudi Arabia. The project forms part of a broader portfolio of 13 exploration licenses spanning over 1,072 km² across the Kingdom.

The program included 175 rock-chip and grab samples collected from artisanal mining areas across three key targets: Hishashat VMS, Al Miyah Main VMS, and the newly identified Hilux Zone. Among these, the Hilux Zone stands out, extending approximately 6 kilometers along a north-south trend and showing strong gold potential, with assay results reaching up to 6.73 g/t Au.

At Hishashat, results confirmed the presence of a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system, with copper values reaching up to 5.01% and gold up to 1.45 g/t, alongside notable silver content. Geophysical surveys, including 600 ground TDEM stations, have further supported the presence of conductive targets beneath surface cover, guiding future trenching and follow-up work.

The Al Miyah Main target also demonstrated encouraging mineralization, with mapping identifying multiple VMS gossan lenses across a 300-meter trend. Recent sampling returned values including 0.94 g/t gold and 0.8% copper, reinforcing the area’s exploration potential.

In addition to these defined targets, regional reconnaissance work has identified new mineralized zones, with results up to 2.5 g/t gold and 1.49% copper, further expanding the project’s upside.

The company plans to advance exploration through detailed geological mapping, expanded sampling programs, and geophysical surveys, including induced polarization (IP), ground gravity, and airborne electromagnetic surveys. A first drill program in Saudi Arabia is also in preparation.

Greg Davis, CEO of Sun Peak, highlighted the significance of the findings, particularly at Hilux, noting that the strong surface grades point to meaningful exploration potential across the project.

Sun Peak continues to advance multiple projects in Saudi Arabia, including Halahila and Safra, alongside newly acquired licenses, as part of its strategy to develop district-scale gold and base metal assets within the Arabian-Nubian Shield.
